PHSA uses the birth-year registration system employed by US Soccer.
Our seasons begin on August 1. We are currently in the 2024-25 season (ends July 31, 2025).
The Birth Year Chart below provides an example on how to calculate age group and birth year. The year the season ends (i.e. 2025) minus your birth year = your age group.
Example 2024-25 season for a player born in 2011: 2025 - 2011 = 14, so the player would be U14.
